I firmly believe that being gluten-free should not mean you are forced to give up the foods you once loved. There is plenty out there to satisfy the cravings from life pre-diagnosis. I know. I’ve been searching and testing since I discovered my intolerance in February 2006.
Gluten awareness is growing and with this awareness comes more options both at the grocery store and restaurants. I am constantly on the hunt for new dishes, products and recipes to try, and with the help of my Celiac mother, we have found a surprising number of top-notch, almost-tastes-like-it-has-gluten foods. I’ve even begun to like baking. Now that’s remarkable.
