About

I firmly believe that being gluten-free should not mean you are forced to give up the foods you once loved. There is plenty out there to satisfy the cravings from life pre-diagnosis. I know. I’ve been searching and testing since I discovered my intolerance in February 2006.

Gluten awareness is growing and with this awareness comes more options both at the grocery store and restaurants. I am constantly on the hunt for new dishes, products and recipes to try, and with the help of my Celiac mother, we have found a surprising number of top-notch, almost-tastes-like-it-has-gluten foods. I’ve even begun to like baking. Now that’s remarkable.

So, fellow gfers, this blog is dedicated to sharing my passion for good gluten substitutes in hopes that you will find them as delicious as I have. Please let me know what you think, and in the spirit of sharing, if you know of a product I should review, by all means, please send it along.

Happy eating!

    • Alex, thank you! I live right down the street from your Cambridge location and I’d love to be in the know. And I’ve been meaning to stop by for some yummy pizza again soon

  2. I just recently discovered that I am gluten intolerant. Since I am a food-lover, I am trying to find as many tasty options as possible and this is a great resource. Thanks!
